In person Chapter Leader Exchange (CLE) is BACK! Yes – you read that right. HIMSS will host a two-day onsite training for Chapter Leaders. This training is specifically targeted to incoming chapter leaders (all welcome, incoming president encouraged) to equip them with the tools, resources, connections, and skills to successfully lead their chapter in delivering HIMSS’ mission to their local community. Thousands of chapter leaders over the years have found attending this onsite training an invaluable experience. Please save-the-date for the upcoming event, taking place September 16-17, 2024 at the JW Marriott in San Antonio, Texas.

The Chapter Advocacy Workshop will coincide with Chapter Leader Exchange on day 2.

Stay tuned for more details this summer, including hotel room block and registration. HIMSS is reimagining this onsite training to be even more impactful for attendees. HIMSS will financially support each chapter sending a representative to this onsite training via comp registration and travel/hotel stipend (amount of stipend is based on chapter’s distance to SA; the chapter board should approve the chapter’s comp attendee). We encourage you to budget* for additional chapter representatives to bring home this valuable education. We hope to see you in San Antonio!
